Moulding-Expo Rapid-Area brings the 3D printing sector to Stuttgart

Germany - Messe Erfurt's Rapid-Area road show enters the second round with its presence at the upcoming Moulding-Expo in Stuttgart from 5 to 8 May 2015. Various companies will be presenting their products and innovations in the field of additive manufacturing (AM) and 3D printing.

Messe Erfurt is taking its Rapid-Area road show on tour for a second time. The show is heading to Stuttgart, Germany, to join 618 exhibitors at the compelling debut of the Moulding-Expo, the international trade fair for tool, pattern and mould making.

“Product diversity and version switching are hallmarks of these sectors. Additive technologies are therefore a real trending topic”, explained Messe Erfurt CEO Wieland Kniffka in regard to the road show’s presence in Stuttgart. “Regardless of what you call it, either the third industrial revolution or Industry 4.0 – additive technologies will also turn the tool and mould making sectors on their heads. This is causing an increase in demand for knowledge exchange and information. Over the past eleven years, we have used our Rapid-Tech conference and trade fair to develop our expertise in this field, which we can now take to exhibitors and visitors at Moulding-Expo.”
