Türk+Hillinger Premiere for T+H in Guangzhou

China – Germany-based manufacturer of electrical heating elements, Türk+Hillinger, will be presenting its product range for the plastics industry for the first time in Guangzhou this year. Michael Mann, CEO of T+H group says: “Be innovative, act global and produce locally in a rational and cost-effective way with quality - made in Germany - is the aim in our efforts to be internationally competitive.”

Among the exhibits to be showcased from the company's production portfolio are some highlights here:

Flex, the company's latest product, is a three-dimensional flexible bendable tubular heater that is used mainly in hot-runner systems. A robust heater with good thermal properties, it is available in numerous diameters and cross sections. Flex is said to be bent easily and quickly into the required form. Due to its highly automatised production, Flex is on a lower price level compared to other flexible tubular heaters on the market.

RP is a bendable high-performance tubular cartridge heater that offers high-watt density and low mass. The heaters are used where space is at a premium. They are available in different diameters from 1.2 mm, with or without integrated thermocouple.

Temperature sensors are available in different shapes and designs – be it straight, in ring-form or as a special manifold sensor – they are available in grounded or ungrounded versions. Characteristics of the sensors are its quick response time, unique moisture-proof design and its robust construction. They also have miniaturised connection sleeves and high temperature-resistant connection.

HPQ nozzle heaters are low-mass tubular heaters (type RP). Typical for the HPQ, which is mainly used in hot-runner systems, is the brass part where the low-mass tubular heater is coiled. They are available in different lengths and diameters with a small wall-thickness and a highly precise power distribution. HPQ heaters are deliverable, with or without, fixed or changeable thermocouple for an optimal control and regulation performance.

HLP high-performance cartridge heaters are metal-sheathed heaters with an extremely high surface loading to provide high power in a small area. They are available in countless forms and are used in various applications in the plastic industry, for example, as nozzle heaters in extrusion dies, hot runner systems or hot stamping presses, welding bars or in closure machinery. While T+H offers the heaters within a stock type list, they are also produced based on customer requirements.
