The International Fair of Plastics and Rubber Processing in Poland is one of the most important industry events in this part of Europe. The 30th anniversary event will take place at Targi Kielce from May 19 to 22, 2026. Companies can already join the group of exhibitors and reserve exhibition space.
“For three decades, we have been building Plastpol’s position as a meeting place for the global plastics industry. Thanks to the participation of companies from different parts of the world, the event has become a catalyst for investments, relationships, knowledge, and commercial contracts,” emphasizes Dr. Andrzej Mochoń, President of Targi Kielce.
The Plastpol success story means the transformation — from a national event in the 1990s to one of the key industry meetings in Europe. In recent years, it has gathered around 600 exhibitors from more than 30 countries, including Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Italy, Turkey, China, India, and the USA. Visitors come from all over Europe and Asia.
“Plastpol has no competition in this part of Europe. It is a place to build relationships and long-term cooperation that drives the development of the plastics and rubber processing industry,” notes Kamil Perz, Plastpol Project Director.
The first edition in 1997 brought together 50 companies. Among them were organizations and enterprises that can be regarded as the very founders of Plastpol, such as Dopak, Danje-Polymer, Dom Przedstawicielski — today Engel, Elektromech — now Muehsam, FCPK Bytów — now ProPlastica, KGL Corporation, Metalchem from Gliwice — today ICHEMAD-Profarb, OBRMiCH Metalchem from Toruń — now part of the Łukasiewicz Research Network, Milar, Polimarky, Wadim-Plast, WEP — today Telko, as well as the Polish Union of Plastics Processors with its then Managing Director and now Supervisory Board member, Wojciech Filek, and the Plastics Processing Techniques Plant Plastech led by Henryk Zawistowski. — They trusted us as organizers, took the risk of joining the first edition, and have loyally remained with us ever since, successfully contributing to the fulfillment of our mission — stresses Kamil Perz.
Plastpol’s 30th anniversary even more international
Over the decades, the priority has been the continuous internationalization of the event and the involvement of industry representatives from an increasing number of countries. Solutions such as injection molding machines, extruders, blow molding machines, recycling lines, and depalletizers, as well as raw materials including granulates, colorants, additives, and regranulates, are brought from all over the world.
“Companies are already registering to participate in the fair, reserving exhibition space, and we invite more enterprises to contact us. National pavilions will be organized by Germany, Austria, India, Switzerland, and the Czech Republic,” reports Kamil Perz.
Thanks to the participation of so many countries, Plastpol fosters the creation of supply chains — from raw material and machinery manufacturers to recyclers and industries using plastics: packaging, automotive, electronics, medical, construction, household appliances, as well as the manufacture of toys and children’s products.
Conversations at the stands lead to real contracts. At the 2025 edition, agreements were signed for the purchase of injection molding machines, recycling lines, and raw materials. A key role is played by live technology demonstrations — machines showcasing their capabilities in conditions close to industrial practice.
Gold Medals and Knowledge Forum at Targi Kielce
Innovations presented at Plastpol are awarded the prestigious Gold Medals, handed out during the Platinum Plast gala. These awards, granted by a panel of experts, enhance the prestige of companies and promote technologies that respond to market challenges: energy efficiency, automation, and recycling. — Plastpol acts as an incubator for new products and trends in the industry — highlights Dr. Andrzej Mochoń, President of Targi Kielce.
The fair is accompanied by conferences and seminars, including Plastech Info and the presentation of reports by PlasticsEurope Polska. An important part of the event is also the Omniplast competition, promoting knowledge and expertise within the industry.

New Exhibition Hall at Targi Kielce under construction
The 2026 edition will be an opportunity to look into Plastpol’s future. Visitors will see the new Targi Kielce hall, scheduled for completion in the summer of 2026. Its ground floor, with an area of 15,500 m² and a height of 15 meters, will enable presentations in modern, comfortable conditions. The mezzanine (3,000 m²) will house conference rooms and restaurants. The investment, valued at approximately PLN 100 million, will significantly expand the expo space at Targi Kielce. — The new expo hall, combined with the existing space, will create over 50,000 square meters of exhibition space under the roof. This is Europe’s top level — emphasises Andrzej Mochoń, president of Targi Kielce. Plastpol exhibitors will accommodate innovative exhibition concepts in the new expo space of Targi Kielce in May 2027.
Plastpol at the K Fair
Plastpol’s organizers are also present at major industry events in Asia, Europe and the Middle East. They will participate in the K Fair in Düsseldorf, held from October 8 to 15, 2025. — We invite you to visit stand EN1-05B. We will talk about the possibilities of cooperation for the upcoming and subsequent expo, and the use of the new exhibition hall — says Kamil Perz, Project Director.
