The Kielce International Fair of Plastics and Rubber Processing has been one of Europe’s leading industry events for three decades, and its significance in the global market continues to grow. The 30th edition, taking place from 19 to 22 May 2026, is expected to be more international than ever, with companies and specialists attending from North America, Europe, Asia and the Arab world.

“For three decades, we have been enhancing Plastpol’s position; this is a meeting place for the global plastics industry. The participation of companies from various continents has enabled the event to catalyse investments,” says Dr. Andrzej Mochoń, President of Targi Kielce.

What began in the 1990s as a local exhibition has evolved into one of Europe’s most important technological and business platforms. Today, Plastpol brings together around 600 companies from more than 30 countries, including Germany, Austria, Italy, Turkey, China, India, Saudi Arabia and the United States. Visitors travel from 50 countries across Europe, North America, the Middle East and Asia.

“We mark our presence at many industry events in various parts of the world throughout the year – Plastpol is well known and appreciated in Germany, Asia and Saudi Arabia. Companies express a great interest in participating in our event, including those we have not hosted yet. Global brands from four continents will be present during the 2026 expo,” notes Kamil Perz, project director at Targi Kielce. National pavilions will be organised by Germany, Austria, India, Switzerland and the Czech Republic, among others.

Global supply chains built in Poland

Plastpol is recognised for showcasing solutions from leading global suppliers — ranging from machinery and automation manufacturers to raw material providers, recycling companies and firms supporting international supply chains.

In May 2026, exhibitors from Europe, Asia, North America and the Arab region will present injection moulding, extrusion and blow moulding machines, recycling lines, automation systems, production stations and process-support robots. Raw materials such as granulates, regranulates, dyes and additives will also feature prominently.

“The comprehensive product offering of companies from 30 countries allows exhibitors and professional visitors to establish relationships that create entirely new supply chains. This is where long-term partnerships are created. They have a tangible impact on the development of companies and the sector,” adds Perz.

Where conversations become contracts

Plastpol has developed a reputation as a venue where business discussions lead directly to investment decisions. The 2025 edition saw contracts signed for injection moulding machines, recycling lines and raw materials. Live demonstrations — conducted under conditions close to industrial reality — played a key role in evaluating technologies ahead of implementation.

Gold Medals and knowledge-sharing at Targi Kielce

The expo also highlights innovation through the Targi Kielce Gold Medals, presented during the Platinum Plast gala. A jury of experts selects technologies that address global challenges such as automation, energy efficiency and recycling.

“Plastpol is an incubator for new products and trends in the industry, and is also a platform for the exchange of knowledge and experiences,” says Perz. Conferences, seminars and insider meetings — such as Plastech Info and presentations of the PlasticsEurope Polska report — accompany the exhibition.

The Omniplast competition, co-organised with the Tworzywa.pl website, promotes specialist knowledge and skills within the industry.

“Plastpol 2026 will therefore be a meeting platform for the global plastics industry. Together with producers, distributors, experts, partners and, of course, visitors, we will celebrate the trade fair's anniversary. We will recall the first expo – although it was staged in only one expo hall, it was a solid portion of energy that spurred the development of the industry,” Perz concludes.
