From 30 March to 1 April Plast & Printpack Alger will be held in Algiers for the tenth time. Over 280 exhibitors from 22 countries have confirmed their participation at the Palais des Expositions – Safex. The event is organised by Fairtrade in cooperation with Messe Düsseldorf.

Serving as the central B2B platform for the plastics, print and packaging industries in Algeria and North Africa, Plast & Printpack Alger brings together international producers, technology providers and trade visitors. The international orientation of the trade fair is underscored by companies attending from Africa, Asia, Europe and the Middle East.

Focal topics at Plast & Printpack Alger 2026 include recycling technologies, sustainable materials, resource-efficient manufacturing processes as well as circular value-adding models. With this focus the trade fair accompanies Algeria’s increasing orientation towards more sustainable and technologically modernised industrial production.

The event contributes to promoting investment in state-of-the-art equipment, expanding local value creation, strengthening export potential and reducing dependency on imports.

Following its first-time participation in 2025, the state-owned energy company Sonatrach has also confirmed its return participation for 2026. This testifies to the growing relevance of the integrated value chain spanning raw material production to downstream processing in the plastics industry.
