RAMADA GROUP invests in new automated carburizing line
This investment reduces delivery times and strengthens the capacity of the market to compete for larger projects.
The RAMADA GROUP has launched a new automated heat treatment line with a controlled atmosphere and oil quenching, including carburising, carbonitriding, quenching, among others. With over 70 years of experience, the Heat Treatment unit in Portugal is increasing its production capacity to a maximum of 9,000 kg per day, with the capability to treat parts up to 1,300 mm in length and weighing up to 1,500 kg.
This new heat treatment line is the result of a partnership with the supplier IPSEN, a global reference in this type of equipment. State-of-the-art technology enables the automation and digitalisation of heat treatment processes, making the production unit safer, more efficient and more sustainable, while also ensuring automated quality control.
RAMADA GROUP therefore strengthens its position as a true partner for industries such as metalworking, moulds and related sectors. The company combines greater production capacity with close customer support and a specialised team capable of finding the best technical solutions, focusing on quality and speed of service, competitiveness and trust.
With 90 years of experience, RAMADA Group is a Portuguese industrial group specialising in steel solutions and machining services. With 330 employees and a turnover of €82 million, the Group operates through a portfolio of companies, including Planfuro Global and Ramada Aços.
