HSB Normalien offers standard moulds for tool-making and punching technology and more.
Germany-based HSB Normalien offers a wide range of stocks on standard moulds for tool-making and punching technology as well as a large selection of precision flat steel and tempering systems. Altogether, it has in stock over a million bars, be it round steel, erosion blocks, universal blanks, pre-machined tool steel, universal plates, universal saw blanks and precision flat steel, in 10,000 different designs, allowing for quick delivery. Offerings are in over 13 different steel grades - among them – 1,1730; 1,2083; 1,2099; 1,2162; 1,2210; 1,2312; 1,2343; 1,2379; 1,2510; 1,2767; 1,2842; ST 52-3 and PM 23.
The company explained that customised blanks are produced on modern saws and machining centres and that it also carries out jobs in deep-hole drilling, milling, grinding and turning at a short notice. HSB promises quality precision steel with high angularity, parallelism and flatness, coupled with low roughness and decarbonisation-free surfaces. The universal components from HSB are suitable for guide rails, slides, printing plates – the width and length of the components are sawn or milled, namely ground to or finely milled to the correct thickness.
In the field of temperature-control systems, HSB says it has everything from fittings such as connection nipples to reducing nipples, hose nozzles, quick-release couplings, hose clamps, deflection elements, screw plugs and two-ear hose clamps.
