Hasco Hasenclever Optimum way to keep cool and costs down
Germany – Hasco presents its cooling system for injection moulds, Cool-Cross Z99/...
According to Hasco, it is for the first time possible to have cooling channels crossing each other on the same plane in a flexible and inexpensive manner without any major outlay on production.
The company adds that the system permits even temperature distribution at the core or insert, and constant cavity cooling on all four sides for the duration of the moulding cycle. It also features a positive-locking mechanism that prevents the unintended closure of the cooling channels.
Various independent cooling circuits cross each other on the same plane, resulting in small plate thickness that in turn allows for the use of shorter nozzles, guidance and attachment elements. This is said to reduce the cost of components and processing of the plates. And, the number of cooling channels can be reduced.
