It has a robust granite and polymer base with fully protected guides and scales, and a temperature compensation system for the shop floor environment. The Scopecheck S is an all-purpose machine and can be used for measuring turned, machined, punched, and stamped parts. The measurement range is from 300 to 400 mm in the X axis and 200 mm in both the Y and Z axes, the company says.

Measuring device allows speedy multi-tasking

The Werth image processing sensor is included in all Scopecheck coordinate measuring machines as part of the standard equipment. This processing sensor has been developed for dimensional metrology and provides reliable edge finding, even under difficult contrast conditions. Additional sensors, such as scanning probe systems, laser sensors, the Werth Fiber Probe or rotary/tilting axes, increase the flexibility of the system to enable optimal machine configuration for various measurement tasks.

Werth notes that the graphical, interactive Winwerth measurement software allows for dimensions to be determined easily, for example by clicking on the graphic, thus enabling untrained personnel to use the machines. Optical and tactile scanning and CAD-based measurement can be included, too.
