Expansion in Scandinavia Open Mind establishes new subsidiary in Sweden

Sweden — One of the world's leading providers of CAD/CAM solutions is strengthening its presence in Scandinavia with the establishment of Open Mind Technologies Scandinavia in Gothenburg.

Since 2019, Open Mind has been selling the Hypermill software suite directly in Sweden, having previously been introduced for many years through dealers, primarily in Sweden and Norway. “Hypermill is well known and established in the industry in Scandinavia. Now we will serve customers in these markets even better with a new subsidiary and further expand our activities,” says Claudio Jorio, Sales Director Dach, and Executive Board Member Open Mind Technologies Scandinavia.

He will be supported by Mikael Martensson. The application engineer knows many of the medium-sized and larger companies that are already optimising their machining operations with Hypermill. “In many industries, companies face challenges for which we can provide solutions. These include state-of-the-art automation technologies for process optimisation or solutions for additive manufacturing,” says Martensson. “With Hypermill, it is possible to exploit the possibilities offered by CNC machines and tools. By establishing a branch in Gothenburg, we are consolidating our presence in the market and demonstrating our lasting commitment to customers and interested parties alike.”
