Hermle Open House a great success, 6.5% increase in Q1 order intake

Germany - Hermle welcomed 1000 companies with over 2,600 visitors during four days of exhibits at its annual April Open House. The large crowds reflect the company's order intake figures, which were up 6.5% year-on-year in Q1 (€81.4m).

More than 800 visitors from 40 countries travelled to Gosheim, Germany for the event, Hermle said. The largest groups of visitors came from the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland, Turkey, Scandinavia, Italy, Benelux, Hungary, Spain, Switzerland and Austria.

The large crowds reflect the company's order intake figures, which were up 6.5% year-on-year in Q1 (€81.4m). With €70.3m, consolidated sales were reportedly slightly down compared to the first quarter in 2014 (€71.3m).
