To increase its hot runner manufacturing capacity, Oerlikon HRS Flow is building a new automated plant in Italy. The facility, which is expected to be operational by the end of 2024, will use advanced technologies and increase production by 30 percent.

Hot runner manufacturer Oerlikon HRS Flow will start construction of a new fully automated plant in San Polo di Piave, Italy, to expand its capacity to better serve its European partners. The plant will increase Oerlikon HRSflow's Italian production by +30 percent to meet growing demand in the packaging, consumer goods and automotive sectors.

Located in San Polo di Piave (Italy), close to the two existing plants, the new facility will use the latest technologies in terms of organisation, processes and machinery to manufacture Oerlikon HRS Flow's expanded portfolio of hot runners for customers in the packaging, consumer goods and automotive sectors. The new facility is expected to be operational by the end of 2024.

With this additional capacity, Oerlikon HRS Flow aims to maintain its technology leadership as a partner to European mould-makers and end-users of hot runners for various applications, while providing customers with the right flexibility and even more reliable and faster service.
