Quebec-headquartered Creaform has just announced the appointment of Daniel Rivard as Vice President of Operations to manage and coordinate all manufacturing operations of the Innovation & Technology Division.

Creaform, leading provider of portable and automated 3D measurement solutions, has appointed Daniel Rivard as Vice President of Operations. Working from the company’s Lévis HQ in Quebec, Rivard will be responsible for managing and coordinating all manufacturing operations for Creaform’s Innovation & Technology Division, the company noted.

With over 20 years in the medical and pharmaceutical solutions industry, Rivard brings a wealth of managerial and operational experience to his new role. His former posts include general manager, Steris, VP, operations and development, TSO3 and Orthofab, and he was technical services manager at Glaxo Smith Kline Biologicals. Rivard has also acquired experience as production manager and quality manager in the construction and recreational vehicle industries as well.

At Creaform, Rivard will look for ways to shorten delivery times and keep the company agile in response to evolving client needs, while maintaining the company's high standards for quality and reliability. His predecessor Fanny Truchon, was promoted earlier this year to president and business unit manager.

Rivard holds a BA in mechanical engineering, an MA in business administration and is a certified member of board of directors at ASC – Université Laval.
