Husky New president to lead hot runners and controllers business

Canada – Husky Injection Molding Systems has appointed Stefano Mirti to the position of president, hot runners and controllers effective 1 January, 2016.

Mirti has been acting interim leader of the hot runners and controllers business since June 2015. “I am pleased to have Stefano lead the hot runners and controllers organisation,” said John Galt, Husky’s president and CEO. “Stefano has a deep understanding of our customers’ needs and brings this insight into every aspect of the business, from product innovation to sales and service. He has developed a strong, engaged team dedicated to bringing value to our customers and delivering on our commitments.”

Mirti has more than 20 years of operations and sales experience within Husky including general sales manager Europe, and most recently serving as vice-president, global hot runner operations.
