UK – Training providers In-Comm One in West Midlands has a new senior management team.

Chris Reeves is now Operations Director, overseeing the further expansion of the academies in Aldridge, Bridgnorth and Shrewsbury joining directors Colin Mills, Geoff Jones and Bekki Phillips in senior management. Phillips will be Managing Director replacing Gareth Jones. Jones, who steps down in August will remain as shareholder and continue to support with the strategy, long-term business planning and the development of the In-Comm Training & Manufacturing Group.

Phillips noted: “Working with our consortium partners, we have secured and delivered more than £7.5m of investment in creating three world class training centres in the West Midlands.” Phillips added that together, the Group has over 75,000 sq. ft of training space that can cater for up to 2,000 apprentices annually as well as being able to support over 3,000 businesses. “This capacity is the challenge we are tackling, but it also represents a fantastic opportunity for companies to get involved with us, in order to help them address the skills shortage they are facing,” the new MD explained.

Reeves, who held roles in logistics, training and recruitment during a 10-year career with the Royal Regiment of Fusiliers, joined In-Comm in 2014, starting then as assessor and working all the way to Operations Manager. As Operations Director, he will see to the on-boarding process for new and existing clients.
