Injection machine manufacturer Arburg took another significant step towards increasing its local presence worldwide by opening a new subsidiary in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. The main aim is to bring its products and services closer to customers in Vietnam.

With the new subsidiary in Vietnam, Arburg has organisations at 36 locations in 26 countries worldwide and, together with its trading partners, is represented in over 100 countries. In this way, the company aims to ensure that all the necessary specialists are available to customers whenever they need them.

The decision to establish this subsidiary is based on the intention to provide products and services to this growing market with greater ease, speed and reliability.

David Chan, Managing Director ASEAN, explains: “Vietnam's strategic location in the ASEAN region makes it an important base for the continued growth of our business. This move will enable us to further expand our strong presence in the ASEAN markets. The plastics industry is constantly evolving. Our presence in Vietnam means we can fully meet the needs of a rapidly developing market. The new subsidiary comprises a compact, specialised team of sales and service professionals with a solid understanding of both Arburg technology and the local market. Arburg Vietnam, together with the Arburg Technology Factory (ATF) in Pinghu, is linked to other subsidiaries in the Asian market. It offers high-quality service, advanced plastics technology and actively shares best practices within the industry. This range of offerings positions Arburg as a reliable partner for tailor-made processing solutions that are well aligned with the current requirements of the Vietnamese market.
