Moulding Expo, the prominent International Trade Fair for Tool, Pattern, and Mould Making, has set its new dates: May 6-9, 2025. The event, celebrated for being a central showcase in the European tool, pattern, and mould making industry, will mark its 10th anniversary and 5th edition in 2025.

A new date for Moulding Expo has been announced. The International Trade Fair for Tool, Pattern and Mould Making will take place from 6 to 9 May 2025. “Our top priority is to create ideal general conditions for our trade fairs and exhibitions, thereby ensuring the success of all stakeholders. We have managed to find a suitable date for the industry when Moulding Expo can be staged. We want to make use of this opportunity,” said Sebastian Schmid, Vice President of Messe Stuttgart, in explaining the decision regarding the new date.

The new date was chosen in agreement with the four partners of Moulding Expo, i.e. the German Federal Association of Pattern and Mould Manufacturers (BVMF), the VDMA Precision Tools Association, the Association of German Tool and Mould Makers (VDWF), and the German Machine Tool Builders' Association (VDW).

“Moulding Expo is the showcase for the European tool, pattern and mould making industry, as well as for all important technology partners and suppliers. In our opinion, the new date is ideal. During the four days of the trade fair at Messe Stuttgart, we will experience a constellation similar to that at the première. That went down very well with our member companies back then. We are therefore already looking forward to the trade fair in 2025,” said Markus Heseding, Managing Director of the VDMA Measuring and Testing Technology Association, and the VDMA Precision Tools Association.

Moulding Expo will be staged for the fifth time in 2025 when it will celebrate its 10th anniversary. “Moulding Expo is the Venice Beach for us tool makers. It is the trade fair which our industry and Messe Stuttgart jointly created ten years ago as a key event for tool construction and mould making. In 2025 the Who's who in the industry will meet for the fifth edition of Moulding Expo at Messe Stuttgart. That's definitely a reason to celebrate,” said Prof. Dr.-Ing. Thomas Seul, President of the VDWF.

Dr. Markus Heering, Managing Director of the VDW, added: “Tool, pattern and mould making is now more than ever a key industry. Moulding Expo provides the industry with the platform it deserves. The trade fair also offers our members from the area of machine tools the opportunity to hold discussions as technology partners. As a founding member and partner of Moulding Expo, we are looking forward very much to the anniversary.”

The HR innovation trade fair Zukunft Personal Süd will be held concurrently with Moulding Expo 2025 at Messe Stuttgart. Control, the International Trade Fair for Quality Assurance, will also be staged at Messe Stuttgart at the same time.
