As a specialist for 3D printing, rapid prototyping, tooling and manufacturing, Speedpart relies on the intelligent combination of additive and subtractive manufacturing processes. The targeted use of metal and plastic 3D printing in conjunction with CNC machining and injection moulding results in highly complex tools and components with optimised properties, the company states. This hybrid strategy enables:

  • Faster production times through shorter tool manufacturing
  • Greater design freedom through the additive manufacturing of free forms and internal channels
  • Optimised cost structure through targeted use of materials and reduced post-processing

Additive manufacturing is also revolutionising traditional toolmaking. State-of-the-art 3D printing technologies can be used, for example, to create contour-hugging cooling channels that significantly reduce cycle times in injection moulding. This not only increases production speed but also extends the service life of the tools.

Customers benefit from a manufacturing solution that combines maximum precision with maximum efficiency. The combination of 3D printing and conventional manufacturing not only enables projects to be implemented more quickly, but also reduces costs and improves the quality of the end products.

In addition to technological advancement, sustainability is also a key focus. Speedpart relies on resource-saving manufacturing processes and optimised material utilisation to minimise waste and improve its environmental footprint. Through the targeted use of 3D printing technologies, material can be used exactly where it is needed, without unnecessary waste.
