Hasco, a manufacturer of standard mould products and hot runner systems, is presenting a mould system for small series production and a range of hot runner nozzle variants.

The mould system, which when combined with the company's Clever Mold clamping, is said to enable both fast and efficient mould changes on all conventional injection moulding machines.

The extended product highlights include, among other things, a range of improved tempering connections and the Tempflex, which allows flexible tempering into the mould beyond the technical limits of traditional drilling, according to the supplier. It also improvements have also been made to the range of slides and for the thread demoulding process.

Hot runner products from the supplier at the exhibition include various nozzle variants, side gating and a recently developed needle closure nozzle called Valve Gate Shot for the packaging sector. The unit features provide for process optimisation and service friendliness as well offering an attractive system price.

A hydraulically-operated cylinder for moving needle valve packages makes systems more maintenance-friendly because they can be dismantled without exposing the hydraulic drive unit, the company said. This helps protect both the system and the surrounding environment from being soiled by hydraulic oil.

The drive unit portfolio is rounded off by a modular range of needle valves for individual pneumatic and hydraulic control in different housing variants. according to the supplier. For regulator technology, the company said it plans to present a central operator unit and a range of improved products.
