MHT Mould, hot runner firm selects manager for technology, sales
He replaces one of the company’s founders, who was a major contributor to product development.
Germany’s MHT Mold and Hotrunner Technology has announced the appointment of Christian Wagner as technical and sales director, effective 1 January 2015.
The company said Wagner has many years of experience in PET preform toolmaking and application technology. Wagner will work closely with Christoph Kückels, who has served for many years as finance director, to shape the company's future strategic orientation.
Wagner replaces Werner Plass, who will retire but maintain close links with the firm. Plass founded MHT, originally a supplier of PET preform tools, with 10 partners in 1998 and helped shape its development.
MHT said that under the leadership of Plass, the company built the world’s first 144-cavity and 192-cavity production tools.
