Some 200 designers have updated their knowledge on innovations in tool and mould making at the first of a range of worldwide Designer Days, according to organiser Hasco, a supplier of standard mould products.

The host said that after an introductory company presentation focussing on developments in standard units, the events provided tips on the web shop and digital catalogue, news of of the company’s Idea Management system, and practically oriented CAD/CAM applications from the houses of Cimatron, Mecadat and Solidworks.

The requirements, expectations and wishes of participants were adopted with a view toward the future. “It is important for us to ensure that Hasco software is user-friendly, so that our designers and customers benefit from the greatest possible usability,” System Administrator Peter Schlink said.
