Joint Trade Fair Presence More than 50 companies present on the joint VDWF stands at Medtec Live and Euroguss
Germany — In spring 2022, the VDWF will be represented at two trade fairs within a few weeks of each other. At Medtec Live in Stuttgart from 3 to 5 May, 40 tool and mould making companies or suppliers will present their products at the VDWF joint stand. And Euroguss in Nuremberg from 8 to 10 June is also well attended: around 10 companies have come together for the VDWF stand.

Euroguss could have kicked off the year for the industries in January 2022, but in view of the uncertain pandemic situation it was postponed by almost half a year. This makes the anticipation for the trade fair in May and June all the greater: “Being at a trade fair with the VDWF joint stand and exchanging ideas with like-minded people is always a highlight,” VDWF Managing Director Ralf Dürrwächter says in this regard.
Medtec Live in Stuttgart offers medical technology suppliers, component manufacturers, mechanical engineers and tool makers, consultancies, software providers and OEMs a professional platform to discuss topics and trends in the industry. In addition, a supporting programme provides information on current developments. After twelve years, the VDWF is again showing its presence at a trade fair in this increasingly important field for tool makers. “The places at our stand were occupied so quickly that we expanded it. Now we are really fully booked with 40 participants,” Dürrwächter is pleased about the great response. The focus is not only on tool and mould making companies with their expertise in the pharmaceutical, laboratory and medical technology sectors: many technology suppliers for peripherals and production technology in this field are also in attendance.
At Europe's largest trade fair for die casting, the industry meets in Nuremberg to offer innovative solutions for aluminium, magnesium or zinc die casting and also to deal with topics such as rapid prototyping, die casting machines and materials testing. After Euroguss 2018 and 2020, the association members are now presenting their high-tech products and services at the joint stand for the third time. The offerings range from tool and mould making to machine technology and industry-specific software solutions.
“The two internationally oriented trade fairs offer a good opportunity for broad networking,” says Dürrwächter. The VDWF is therefore looking forward to a professional get-together and numerous interesting discussions. “Visit us in Stuttgart and in Nuremberg,” the VDWF head cordially invites all interested parties.
