Software company Module Works, announces the acquisition of Celeritive Technologies, the developer of Volumill. With this step, Module Works’ wants to reinforce its position as a global leader in the provision of toolpath and simulation components for digital manufacturing systems.

Module Works has acquired Celeritive Technologies, the developer behind the innovative Volumill software. This strategic move aims to enhance the capabilities and reach of both companies within the manufacturing industry.

Volumill is renowned for its ability to significantly reduce cycle times and cutting tool costs, thereby boosting profitability, flexibility, and competitiveness for manufacturers. This software enables manufacturers to maximize the return on their capital investments, a critical factor in today's fast-paced industrial environment.

Both Celeritive and Module Works have been strategic partners to many of the world’s leading manufacturing organizations for many years. By combining the strengths of both companies, the organizations want to benefit from natural synergies, covering everything from technology to sales and support. It is expected that this will enable more technology to be made available to both sets of customers in the near future.
