Fakuma 2015 Miniaturisation technology for small, precise hot runners
Germany – Freek features its miniaturiasation technologies at the show.
Heating element manufacturer Friedr. Freek's stand will particularly feature its miniaturisation technologies, which it says will help hot runner manufacturers to produce more compact, precise and energy efficient nozzles and hot runners. Freek asserts that even very small elements, such as 1.0 mm x 1.6 mm Mini-Micro-Coils, can resist charges as high as 1000 V and can boast almost 1GOhm insulation resistance. The company also says that the cross section and diameter tolerances at of its nozzle heaters are two-thirds tighter than the market standard of +/-0,15 mm.
