Precision Micro, pioneer company in photochemical etching, says the newly appointed Key Account Manager will serve the growing German market for precision photo-etched metal components and will be the new point of contact for the company’s German-speaking customers. Carter joins a recently recruited German-speaking quality engineer in a commitment to enhance service levels to this increasingly important sector.

In his new role, Carter will provide back office support for Precision Micro’s German Sales Manager, Markus Rettig, and will also liaise with customers on new projects as well as providing ongoing customer service. Carter spent four years as Product Manager at Narrow Aisle developing the company's customer base in Germany, USA and Eastern Europe.

Rettig commented: “German engineers have tapped into the wide range of benefits chemical etching brings when manufacturing safety critical, precise and complex metal parts from high-performance metals.” He added that with Chris on board we'll now have someone suited for the German language.

Carter noted that Precision Micro is already achieving strong growth in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, the markets that the company wants to develop further as awareness of chemical etching technology grows.
