Hot runner specialist Oerlikon HRS Flow has appointed Thierry Fabozzi as the new General Manager of North America, effective March 2025. In this role, he will report directly to Oerlikon CEO Andrea Peruch.

As part of a structured succession plan developed in collaboration with Oerlikon HRS Flow’s CEO Italo Bincoletto, Thierry Fabozzi will take charge of all operational and business activities in North America. At the same time, Bincoletto will continue to support Oerlikon HRS Flow in sales and strategy as President, further strengthening the company’s presence in the Automotive industry.

With over 30 years of experience in packaging technology and a strong multicultural approach, Fabozzi will play a pivotal role in expanding Oerlikon HRS Flow’s presence in the U.S. market, with a particular focus on the Packaging, Medical, Consumer Goods and Logistics sectors.

A key figure at Plastic Technologies Inc. (PTI) since 2012 — an industry leader in package development, rapid prototyping, and material evaluation engineering for plastic packaging — he initially joined the company as Managing Director of PTI Europe in Yverdon, Switzerland. In 2017, he was appointed President CEO of Plastic Technologies (PTI) in Ohio, USA.

His deep expertise in the packaging industry is highlighted by his career at Nestlé, Tetra Pak and other important players where he held several key roles.
