Lantek announced the appointment of Rodrigo Argandoña as the software company’s new chief operations officer, who will directly report to CEO Alberto López de Biñaspre. Argandoña will also be in Lantek's steering committee. As Lantek’s new COO, he will be in charge of streamlining the execution of projects through the global project office. Argandoña will be responsible for the international operations in the 15 countries and 20 offices where Lantek has service teams and local projects.
With over 30 years of experience leading teams in development and the implementation of global software solutions in multinational environments, Argandoña was managing the operations of General Electric (Grid Automation) for southern Europe since 2016. This division achieved an annual turnover of more than 50 million dollars from solutions and services. He also led local teams in Portugal, Spain, Italy and Romania. Prior to GE, Rodrigo was vice president at Aclara Technologies.
As a qualified computer engineer at the University of Mondragón, Argandoña has a MSc in Computing Science from Staffordshire University. The COO is currently completing an MBA at the University of Mondragón.
With the new appointment, Lantek says it will continue increasing its leading position in the market and will solidify its firm commitment to the digital transformation of the sheet metal industry.
