Earlier this year the committees of K 2025 chose the motto for the coming K in Düsseldorf, The international trade fair for plastics and rubber, from 8 to 15 October 2025. It consists of one slogan and three core messages, all focusing on the key topics of K in 2025: The Power of Plastics! Green — Smart — Responsible.

The committees responsible for organizing K 2025, the leading global trade fair for the plastics and rubber industry, scheduled to take place in Düsseldorf from October 8 to 15, 2025, have officially announced the event's theme and core messages. This year's theme, “The Power of Plastics! Green — Smart — Responsible,” aims to highlight the industry's ongoing efforts towards sustainability, innovation, and responsibility.

The selected slogan, “The Power of Plastics!” reflects the essential role that plastic materials play across various sectors, including medical technology, automotive manufacturing and packaging solutions. The emphasis is on the material's versatility and critical importance in contemporary industry, emphasising the organizers' intention to showcase the latest advancements and sustainable practices within the plastics sector.

Complementing the main slogan, three core messages have been defined to further underline the focus areas for K 2025. These include “Shaping the circular economy,” which emphasizes the industry's efforts towards creating sustainable, circular processes; “Embracing digitalisation,” highlighting the role of technology in advancing the industry; and “Caring about people,” which points to a commitment to social responsibility and the well-being of communities impacted by the industry.

The organizers invite exhibitors, experts, and interested parties worldwide to align with these themes and contribute to the discourse on the future of the plastics and rubber industry. They believe that by coming together under this shared vision, the community can drive significant progress in addressing the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead.

Registration for exhibitors wishing to participate in K 2025 remains open until May 31, 2024, offering an opportunity for industry stakeholders to be part of this influential event.
