Cutting Tools Jongen opens new production plant

Germany – Following its construction in a record time of about 12 months, the new state-of-the-art production plant of precision milling tool specialist Jongen Werkzeugtechnik, has been completed in Willich, Germany.

Following a period of strong growth, the new facility will accommodate the 290-men strong company's future expansion plans.

With 1,400 sqm of new production space, capacities will be increased by 20%, Jongen said. The plant hosts the solid carbide end mills production as well as the regrinding service. The company also plans further investments in machinery and equipment. With the fifth production plant at the company's headquarters in Willich, Jongen shows a clear commitment to its location in Germany.
