Milacron Jones appointed President of APPT Americas and Europe businesses
USA - Milacron has announced that Mac Jones has been promoted and is now President of Milacron Advanced Plastics Processing Technologies (APPT) Americas and Europe businesses.
The leading industrial technology company said Mac Jones has held the new position since mid-January 2019. Jones, who joined Milacron in 2015, has been influential in working alongside a number of Milacron’s businesses over this time. In his new post, Jones will oversee the APPT refreshed machinery portfolio and continue to expand Milacron’s plastics processing installed base, the company says. This will include Milacron's Cincinnati large tonnage product line that was recently launched and the new Q-Series injection moulding line.
“I look forward to continuing to build upon Milacron’s leadership position by offering the service, technology and machinery required by plastics processing customers,” Jones noted. He added that service, innovative processing solutions and strategically aligned plastics machinery are at the core of what the company does, which is what Milacron will deliver to its customers.
In addition to driving the expansion of Milacron’s machinery portfolio, Jones will continue to focus on consumables such as spare and replacement parts, field service support, preventative maintenance programmes as well as full machine retrofits and rebuilds.
“Milacron’s M-Powered portfolio of IIoT solutions was designed with our customers’ operations in mind and specifically to provide the operational technology advancements needed for them to compete and win in today’s markets,” Jones added.
The new APPT president started his career at PwC and was with GE Aviation and Hill-Rom, prior to joining Milacron. He has a B.S. in Accounting from the University of Kentucky and an MBA from the Ohio State University. Jones is a certified public accountant (inactive).
