The Japan international machine tool fair, Jimtof, has been cancelled.

Tokyo Big Sight was decided to be used as IBC (International Broadcasting Center) and MPC (Main Press Center) at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics and Paralympics Games. However, the usage of East Exhibition Hall as IBC will be extended due to the postponement of Tokyo 2020 Olympics and Paralympics Games to 2021.
As a result, the organisers are unable to secure the exhibition halls as planned and enough spaces for all exhibitors, therefore the decision was made to cancel Jimtof 2020 (the 30th iteration of the show) scheduled to be held at Tokyo Big Sight from 7 to 12 December 2020.
