Fira Barcelona, event organiser of IoTSWC, says that Gloria Zaionz (Innovation Learning Network) , Bert Van Hoof (Microsoft) and Edy Lingosari (Accenture) have confirmed speaking at the leading IoT industry event from 16-18 October in Barcelona. The experts will cover topics on digitisation of the product value chain, the personalisation of healthcare and the transformation of the labour environment.
The three-day event is said to bring together more than 250 global experts to debate real applications of the IoT that are transforming different industrial environments and creating new business models. With nine core themes, IoTSWC 2018 will offer over 125 scheduled seminars on product manufacturing, healthcare, energy and utilities, connected transport, construction and infrastructures, open industry, enabling technologies, blockchain and artificial intelligence. The last two topics will also feature their own subject-specific forums.
This edition will provide attendees, sponsors and exhibitors the opportunity to achieve their business objectives through different activities, which include test-bed areas, networking events, technology events, a women leadership in IIoT luncheon as well as an awards gala.
The organisers note that they will be expecting some 14,000 visitors from 120 countries with 300 exhibitors, sponsors and partners.
