Germany-based HEB Hydraulik-Elementebau will present its latest compact locking-block-cylinder, the VBZ250 among its range of products.
According to HEB Hydraulik-Elementebau, its VBZ250 compact locking-block-cylinder is based on the company's block-cylinder series and has been specially designed to meet the demands and needs of its partners in the tool and mould-making industry.
The VBZ250 has a double effect, namely, integrated locking and end position monitoring using only two sensors. This cylinder is offered either with the plug placed at an angle or just straight, and with cables. The operating temperatures of the sensors can go up to 120°C and the seals of the unit are also available for high temperature applications. HEB offers seven standard designs, all of which have a venting option. Most designs are 1:1 interchangeable with the company’s block cylinder series, and either with or without the end position sensors. The cylinders come with piston øs from 32mm (locking force 55kN) to 63mm (locking force 140 kN) ) and, on request, cylinders with a piston diameter of 100mm as well.
The company says the supplementary locking cylinder VZS251 with a round design has become very popular for several years now among tool and mould-makers as well as mechanical engineering. It offers long strokes and a compact version with strokes of up to 200mm.
At Fakuma, HEB will be in Hall B3, Booth 3307.
