Available in most of the company's machining centres, lathes and multitasking machines equipped with Okuma’s OSP-P300, Servonavi increases surface quality, reduces production time and undo the effects of wear and tear in older machines, Okuma says.

It provides accuracy and efficiency by automatically adjusting the machine’s settings to the conditions of each individual job. Its work weight auto setting estimates and adjusts to the actual weight of the workpiece/ fixture to suit the maximum table load, hence achieving faster acceleration speeds and shorter cycle times. Also, the reversal spike auto adjustment compensates for slide load variations that diverge from the ideal servo control settings to counteract wear and tear effects and ensure surface quality, Okuma says. The vibration auto adjustment adapts to the changed conditions to eliminate vibration, thereby extending machine life.
