Mold-Masters’ new Integra production cell, developed in collaboration with Primaform, introduces a new approach to injection moulding for small-part production. The system eliminates the need for large conventional moulding machines and semi-cold runner systems. It is designed to improve part quality and productivity, offering cycle time reductions of up to 25 percent compared with traditional semi-cold runner systems. The high-cavitation design and absence of cold runners can also help reduce resin consumption and enable material savings.

Integra is a turnkey, all-electric production cell that incorporates Mold-Masters E-Multi auxiliary injection, hot runner, and various process control systems. All movements are servo controlled (injection, valve-gate, and motion). Servos provide precise, fast, reliable, and repeatable movements. Compared to hydraulic systems, servos are viable for clean room applications and consume less energy to operate than conventional hydraulic systems.

Mold-Masters Integra, and all other necessary equipment, is available single sourced. Single sourcing significantly simplifies the ordering process to reduce lead time and improve your time to market. It’s plug and play design can be delivered along with a site acceptance test (SAT). As this package eliminates the need for conventional injection molding machines, it is up to 80 percent more compact than conventional production equipment. The Integra cell will be available for order in October 2025 with rapid lead times compared to traditional injection molding machine cells. Integra, a unique solution new to the world of plastic injection.
