At the Moulding Expo, AHP Merkle will present the company's latest advancements over the last two years, which include linear cushioning, the ZHZ 160 rod cylinder and AHP's new block cylinder.

One highlight at the company booth will be the new development, linear cushioning. This cushioning, as AHP explains, is not only linear but also evaluable for the designer, and therefore easy to be laid. The cushioning process itself is said to be faster and at the same time more gentle in the application. At the fair, this development will be featured with animations and actual measurements.

The linear cushioning, as such, is available in the company's new product, the rod cylinder series ZHZ 160. Like all other AHP products, this cylinder is equipped with hardened and hard chromed piston rods as standard. Its dimensions are manufactured to DIN/ISO 6020/2 requirements, AHP notes.

Additionally, a new switching solution with inductive sensors, the block cylinder with inductive switches BZP 501 will be presented. These, according to the company, are more compact than the currently available inductive switching solutions. Furthermore, the switching position can be adjusted to a minimum of 5 mm at the end. The switching system is also available for high temperature options up to 140°C.

An additional topic to be explored will be the locking cylinder, which is at the end stage of its development. Customers will be invited to test the last prototypes at the show.
