Simulation In Latest Version, CNC Simulation Software Makes Machining Even More Efficient

Vericut 7.1 CNC machine simulation and optimization software is featured on the stand of CGTech Ltd. at EuroMold. This latest release of the solution used by manufacturers to increase the efficiency of CNC machining operations and eliminate the risk of expensive machine and component collisions introduces significant advances designed to reduce the time manufacturing engineers need to develop, analyze, inspect and document the CNC programming and machining process. Both new features and customer-requested enhancements are included.

With Version 7.1, CGTech continues to improve Vericut’s user interaction, simulation capabilities and analysis, cutting-tool creation and CAD/CAM integration. For example, the CAD Model Assembly feature enables users to import directly into the Vericut Tool Manager cutting tools available in the STEP, CATIA and Siemens NX model formats for CAD/CAM systems. The new Vericut Reviewer collaboration tool allows 3D simulations to be shared with anyone in the company without the need for a Vericut license.

Vericut simulates all types of CNC machine tools, including those from such leading manufacturers such as Mori Seiki, Mazak, Makino, Matsuura, Hermle, DMG and Chiron. The software runs stand-alone, but it can also be integrated with the CAM systems CATIA, Siemens NX, PTC Creo, Mastercam, Edgecam, GibbsCAM, Open Mind hyperMill, Delcam PowerMill and Missler TopSolid’Cam. In addition, new interfaces are available for Delcam FeatureCAM, SolidCAM, InventorCAM and Esprit.
