Corporate Structure Husky creates stand-alone unit for hot runner division
Company appoints experienced manager to run the business.
Canada’s Husky Injection Molding Systems has announced the appointment of Gerardo Chiaia as president of hot runners, products that now comprise a separate business area. The company said, “To better serve customers, Husky is taking the step of establishing hot runners as their own stand-alone business.”
It noted that Chiaia has held various positions at Husky’s service, sales and manufacturing operations. The manager has worked as vice-president of global sales in the company’s beverage packaging business since December 2011.
Keith Carlton will replace Chiaia, Husky said, adding that it has also created a team for developing, refining and launching products.
