The new foam seals by Sonderhoff, Fermapor CC, based on PU, are room temperature-curing, two-component systems that form a very fine-celled, predominantly closed-cell soft foam seal with the FIP CC foaming process. The big advantage is that they have very low water absorption and cure without oven or humidity. Unlike comparable mixed-cell seals, the CC foam seal requires less compression with the same sealing performance.
