The event united user communities from Hexagon Metrology, Intergraph, Leica Geosystems, Z/I Imaging and NovAtel. Professionals from a wide variety of industries were invited to the four-day event, which featured more than 400 educational sessions, hands-on training courses, and keynote presentations. The conference additionally presented previews of technologies, interactive technical demonstrations, examples of real-world best practices and numerous networking opportunities.

The conference’s TechPark showed products and solutions that included sponsor exhibits to represent Hexagon’s synergistic product portfolio through a presentation of integrated technologies. Visitors to the metrology booth enjoyed hands-on demonstrations of the group’s metrology products, including coordinate measuring machines, portable devices and software.

Hexagon Metrology President Norbert Hanke said the event “provided us the opportunity to unite a broad base of customers from all over the world, allowing delegates to learn first-hand how they can optimise their processes and work smarter. I look forward to being back in Las Vegas in 2013 to welcome even more of our Metrology customers.” The next conference is scheduled at the same location on 3–6 June next year.

For those unable to participate in the conference, Hexagon provided a live stream of President and CEO Ola Rollén's keynote presentation, “Hexagon: Moving Businesses, Industries and the World Forward.” A recording can be viewed at
