expansion of ejector range

Customer-oriented expansion of ejector range

HASCO's extensive product portfolio of ejector pins, ejector sleeves and flat ejectors has once again been extended to meet the demands of the market. Over 700 new dimensions and additional designs in a total of 13 product groups are available to be able to better satisfy individual customer requirements.

The focus here is on the quality material HSS, which has much higher temperature resistance and strength compared with conventional tool steel types. This allows, among other things, much longer lifetimes and reduced mould maintenance costs.

A number of innovative products supplement the proven standard range of hardened or nitrided ejectors, with or without a DLC coating.

Ejector pins Z402/…

The new ejector pins Z402/… made of hardened HSS with a cylindrical head and optimum heat resistance, are particularly suitable for use at high mould temperatures in diecasting and injection moulding. The high heat resistance and hardness of the fully hardened ejector pins, made of high-speed steel 1.3343, lead to an increase in endurance with abrasive plastics and guarantee a long service life. If required, an additional heat treatment such as nitriding or coating is possible.

Core pins Z4001/… and Z4101/…

The new generation of twist-proof ejector pins Z4001/… allows accurate centring of individually contoured ejector or core pins in the mould. The centring guarantees a secure assembly position and accurate repeated positioning. The shaft, which is ground over its entire length, allows a dimensionally stable G6 fitting tolerance up to the head.

The Z4101/… variant of hardened hot-work tool steel can, depending on the requirements, be further processed with an additional heat treatment such as nitriding or an additional coating.

Flat ejector pins Z46720/… and Z46710/…

HASCO's flat ejector pins, with two or four corner radii, are mainly used in constructively critical areas of injection moulding tools such as ribs or bars. The recently launched variants, Z46720/… and Z46710/…, are noted for their longer blade, which allows longer strokes and a more flexible area of application. Their high heat resistance and hardness guarantee a long service life.

Additionally, the DLC coating gives the ejectors a high level of hardness and optimum tribological properties with regards to friction, wear and lubrication. Flat ejectors are thus ideal for use in the food and medical sectors.

With this extensive broadening of the portfolio, HASCO allows its customers maximum flexibility in the individual selection of the right demoulding element.
