Hasco has published a comprehensive update to its Cimatron database. With this update, mould designers now have immediate access to an even wider selection of standardised catalogue components within their Cimatron environment. The continuous expansion of digital product data underlines Hasco’s commitment to making the design process in tool and mouldmaking more efficient, more precise and more practical.

With the latest update, more than 50 new and modified components have been integrated into the database. These include additions in the areas of cooling, ejection and mould construction — key modules in mouldmaking that make a decisive contribution to the functionality and quality of a moulding tool. In addition, numerous established components have been technically revised and their database entries updated. Users therefore benefit not only from a greater variety of components, but also from enhanced data accuracy and reliability.

A particular advantage is the availability and ease of integration of the new data. Using the Cimatron Catalog Update Tool, the updated components can be directly integrated into existing designs quickly, easily and without any additional effort. This provides greater flexibility in day-to-day work, saves time during the design phase and supports a continuous digital process chain from planning through to production. The integration of complete and validated CAD data into common design systems such as Cimatron ensures a high level of precision and efficiency, and contributes to significantly shorter development times.
