Editor: Briggette Jaya

Germany – Kroeplin will present, as the company says, the first Quick-test with a resolution of 1 μm at Control. Apart from its handiness, this gauge is characterised by its high accuracy of wireless data transmission and it uses a lithium-polymer battery with an inductive-charging concept.

The user can select numerical values of 0.001 mm, 0.002 mm, 0.005 mm or 0.01 mm, the company notes. Measurement programs help find quick and safe measuring values. This gauge with protection class IP67 is said to defy adverse workshop conditions. The measured values determined with the tried and tested programs can be displayed as absolute, relative or tolerance values. A red / green display supports the reading of the measuring value.

Quick-test can be equipped with a Bluetooth interface. Additionally, proven USB and Digimatic interfaces are available. Its power supply is provided by a lithium polymer battery that is charged inductively by placing the gauge on the provided charging station. The gauge has no connectors or openings that could impair the tightness, for which its optional Bluetooth interface could also contribute to. Up to 8 gauges can transmit their measured values to any terminal via the supplied USB dongle and the installation of a special software is not required. The measured value appears via keypress directly at the cursor position in the respective device. The range in the workshop area is more than 10 m and when there are no obstacles, then above 60 m.

Kroeplin will be in hall 7, booth 7211.
