Independent group Groupe Gorgé, which specialises in high-tech industries, has reported a growth of 10.1% in revenue for the first nine months of 2019, with revenue up 10.3 % in the third quarter of 2019.

The revenue of Groupe Gorgé rose 10.1% the first nine months of 2019, in line with annual targets. The Group’s revenue was up 10.3 % in third quarter 2019 reaching €59.9 million (+14.9 % at constant scope), the very positive performance accounted by all divisions of the Group.
Today, the Group is active in the fields of security and protection in extreme environments, as well as in the 3D printing sector. Employer to around 2,000 staff in locations spread over six countries, in its more than twenty-five-year history, Groupe Gorgé says it has always developed and driven the latest technological and industrial innovations. Its three main divisions include smart safety systems, protection of high-risk Installations and 3D printing.
Revenue for the 3D printing division maintained a high growth rate of 14.7 % in Q3 of 2019, achieving €16 million, compared to €13.9 million in Q3 of the previous year. Within this division, the results in Q3 of 2019 comprising systems (+12.3 %) and products (+18.7 %) activities benefited from the strong momentum of its activities.
The Group's 3D Printing division has been focussing for several years now on industrialisation projects involving 3D printing in various business sectors, which involve a large number of machines dedicated to production applications consuming several tonnes of material. The division has observed a positive trend in some markets and significant progress has been made over the last few months on several projects, the Group says.
