The number of international attendees was also higher at the fourth edition of the June show, the company noted, with visitors from outside Germany comprising 22% of the total.

Sector participation included 31% from mechanical engineering and 18% from motor vehicle construction, followed by the optical industry, plant and apparatus construction and metalworking. According to positions within company organisations, nearly one-third of the visitors were from development, which was followed by employees from manufacturing, production and quality control, and general management, the organiser explained.

“Lasys has thus further established itself as an important industry meeting place for the user industry,” according to Thomas Walter, vice-president of industrial solutions at Messe Stuttgart.
