The mood at Günther's international sales meeting in November was upbeat, thanks to good sales figures of the company's Blue-Flow hot runner nozzles, Günther said.

Three sales team members of long standing were honoured at the event. They were Hannes Feik from Austria, who has been on board for over 30 years, Marc Demicheli from Günther France and Herbert Bäcker, head of the Bäcker technical office in the Netherlands, who came with his daughter Michele, who is soon to become involved in her father’s company. The 32 sales agents from five continents included two from Poland and Romania who became new sales partners in 2016. The Indian agency has also been expanded last year, Günther said.

It added that reflecting the situation throughout the entire plastics processing industry, 2016 was also a very good economic year for the company.

Furthermore, Günther plans to further expand the German location in 2017. There are plans to invest €5m in new technological developments, state-of-the-art machinery and further expansion of the building.

Günther will also present its latest technologies at Fakuma in October 2017, after K 2016 was a good show for the medium-sized company in October. "The last K fair was the best and the most dynamic one we have ever experienced," said Günther Managing Director Siegrid Sommer with satisfaction. “We wish to present further radical innovations at the upcoming trade shows. We are looking forward to a successful year in 2017.”
