Blum said that despite the price war raging in the machine tool market, and although Huron is “100% convinced” of the advantages of laser measuring systems, the company provides its customers with mechanical tool setting systems from the German firm.

Huron Sales Manager Dominique Lutz said, “Thanks to these cost-efficient probes, we can now offer measuring systems in all machining centres and all areas of application.”

Three different Blum measuring solutions are available: the non-contact laser tool setting systems, the TC Series probes for workpiece measurement during and after machining, and the mechanical tool setting systems.
