A recent event at Meusburger gave the participants from the industry an insight into current developments at the company as well as into the production of their standard parts.
In mid-March Meusburger invited to the industry meeting for punching tool construction in Wolfurt. The company informed more than 140 visitors on two days about the process "From the idea - over innovative concepts - to the tool".
At the industry meeting punching tool construction at the Meusburger headquarters in Wolfurt, the company gave impulses to the current developments in punching tool construction. After the short introduction of the Meusburger company by Manfred Faßnacht (Sales Manager Germany South) and Christian Ludwig (Regional Sales Manager Germany South), Marc Walter and Thomas Zettlmeier from Otto Bihler Maschinenfabrik presented the advantages of the standardised tool construction kit. They also talked about the successful cooperation with Meusburger in the development of standardised punching frames.
Franz and Gunter Felsner (Felsner Stanztechnik) then spoke about the advantages of modularisation in punching tool construction and Alexander Koblinger (Segoni) about corporate management with transparent business processes.
Insight into Meusburger production
After the lunch, the visitors were given an insight into the production of Meusburger standard parts during the guided tour and were able to take a look behind the scenes of the production processes in small groups. Subsequently, technical lectures by Dominic Gruß (Phoenix Feinbau) on sensor and actuator technology in stamping tools and Thomas Enz (Meusburger) on the standardisation of tool concepts were on the agenda.
