Additive Technologies Formnext to host 3D printing challenge
Germany – The finalists of the purmundus challenge 2016, the international competition for design in 3D printing, will be announced at this year's Formnext exhibition, the international show on 3D printing, tool and mould making and future manufacturing technologies, held from 15 to 18 November in Frankfurt, Germany.
Since 2012, the purmundus label has been inviting designers, engineers and programmers to explore new paths in additive manufacturing by taking part in the ‘purmundus challenge’. Themed “3D Printing for the Mobile Individual”, the 2016 purmundus challenge will be recognising the most forward-thinking product ideas at Formnext. A special showcase and an award ceremony will be held on 17 November. Graphic artists, architects, mathematicians, engineers, and programmers are requested to submit their entries by 30 September 2016.
