Sector economics Forecasts see additional improvements for Eurozone, UK manufacturing
Recent industry health has been sustained.
Industrial production in the Eurozone and Britain is expected to show strong growth next year.
Pollster Markit said Eurozone manufacturing performed better for the fourth straight month in October. It noted that the data indicates a “marked turnaround in the health of the manufacturing economy” in the Eurozone, and the situation indicates a current annual growth rate of up to 3%.
The UK recorded an improvement in overall operating conditions for the seventh straight month in October, according to the pollster. “The survey suggests manufacturing output is growing at a quarterly rate of around one to one point five per cent," a Markit economist said.
