Pollster Markit said Eurozone manufacturing performed better for the fourth straight month in October. It noted that the data indicates a “marked turnaround in the health of the manufacturing economy” in the Eurozone, and the situation indicates a current annual growth rate of up to 3%.

The UK recorded an improvement in overall operating conditions for the seventh straight month in October, according to the pollster. “The survey suggests manufacturing output is growing at a quarterly rate of around one to one point five per cent," a Markit economist said.
